Who We Are

In this document, ‘you’ or ‘client’ refers to the individual or organisation engaging our services.
‘We’, ‘MXW UK Ltd’, ‘us’, or ‘our’ refers to MX Web Design.

‘Live Website’ means the completed website that has been approved by you and published to your chosen domain.
 

Getting Started

When you approve our quotation and make your initial payment, the project begins. That payment confirms your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, ensuring clarity for both parties from the outset.
 

Our Agreement

Our work is guided by the quotation and the agreed scope. We will deliver all items defined in that scope and keep you informed throughout the process.
During development, you are welcome to request design refinements at any stage. Collaboration is important to us, and we aim to achieve a result you are fully satisfied with.
 

Payments and Project Timing

A 50% deposit is required to commence the project. The remaining 50% is due within 4 weeks of the project start date and upon satisfactory progress.
This structure supports a fair and transparent process for both sides.

MXW UK Ltd reserves the right to pause or cancel a project if:
 

• Required content or information is not supplied
• Communication breaks down
• You are unresponsive for more than 6 weeks
 

Going Live

Once the final version of the website is approved and all payments are received, we will move the website live. We may require domain access, account credentials, or other technical details to complete the launch.
 

Ownership and Backups

Once the project is complete and fully paid for, the website—its design, build, and content—belongs to you.
We may retain a secure backup for safety and support purposes, but you can request for this to be deleted at any time.
 

Your Content

You are responsible for ensuring that any imagery, text, video, design assets, or other materials you supply are properly licensed and permitted for use.
If you need guidance on what is acceptable, we’re happy to help.
 

Domains

If your domain is managed outside of MX Web Design, you will need to provide the necessary access so we can connect your website correctly. Delays in providing access may impact timelines.
 

Advertising & Case Studies

We are proud of the work we produce. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, we may:

• Include a discreet ‘Site by MX Web Design’ link in the footer
• Feature your project within our portfolio or case studies
• Share visuals of the finished website in our marketing materials

If your organisation has confidentiality requirements, we can amend or remove these items upon request.

All websites we produce are built following current best-practice SEO standards.
For clients looking for proactive ranking growth, monitoring, and optimisation, we offer ongoing SEO and support packages.
 

Keeping Things Clear and Fair

We may update them periodically to reflect improvements in our processes or legal requirements.
