How It All Started
MX Web Design was founded by me, Max Harrington, after years of working as a freelance website designer and developer. What began as a late-night passion project quickly evolved into a full-time mission to help businesses grow online.
Before launching MX in 2018, I worked as a videographer and photographer for Mixmag Magazine and BBC Radio 1, then moved into the tech world—gaining experience in SaaS and digital innovation. That mix of creativity and technical know-how laid the foundation for what MX is today: a design studio that blends striking visuals with serious performance.
Since then, we've grown from a one-man setup in London to a trusted agency working with clients across the UK. From hospitality and healthcare to property, recruitment, SaaS, and beyond—we’ve helped businesses of all sizes craft websites that do more than just look good. They work hard.
